The Tracey Rubinoff Diabetes Hope Fund

Tracey Rubinoff was and remains an inspiration and hero to all who knew her.

Tracey became an insulin-dependent type 1 diabetic at the age of 10. Although insulin had been discovered many years before that, it was unfortunately not a cure.

Throughout her life, Tracey battled the complications of her disease with extraordinary strength, determination and courage. Her illness did not stop her from fulfilling the roles that were so dear to her...wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She never used her illness as an excuse. She never stopped smiling and she never stopped living.

Tracey's family and friends are determined to continue her legacy and to promote awareness of this ravaging disease. The Tracey Rubinoff Diabetes Hope Fund has been established to support three initiatives - education, recreation and financial support to assist the well-being
