Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bark

This dessert recipe is a healthier version of the classic chocolate bark. The only difference is that the chocolate used as the base is replaced by Greek yogurt. Topped with fruits, nuts, or other delicious add-ins, it’s perfect for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

(Makes 8 servings if spread on a standard 9×18 in baking sheet and cut into same-sized pieces)

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (0–2% works best)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped almonds or walnuts (optional)

Gluten-Free: All ingredients are naturally gluten-free, but check chocolate chips for certification, or leave out.

Vegetarian-Friendly: Suitable for vegetarian diets.

Instructions

  1. Line a 9″x13″ baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Spread the Greek yogurt evenly across the sheet, about ¼–½ inch thick, or to your liking.
  3. Sprinkle the sliced strawberries, dark chocolate chips, and chopped nuts evenly over the yogurt.
  4. Place the tray in the freezer for 2–3 hours, or until completely frozen.
  5. Remove from the freezer and cut into 8 same-sized pieces. Serve immediately or store frozen in a container.

TIPS

1. Greek Yogurt is perfect for gaining good amounts of protein. They are rich in vitamins and minerals such as B2 which is a type of vitamin that fuels the body’s energy production.
2. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants which promote healthy function of the heart and brain. They also have vitamin C which helps reduce chronic inflammation which is a natural but negative environmental effect that the body has.
