Fro-Yo Bites
Fro-Yo Bites are a delicious and nutritious treat that’s perfect for anyone looking for a healthier snack option! Ingredients
- 1½ cups of plain yogurt
- ¼ cup of whole milk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- ½ tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup of blueberries
- ½ cup of strawberries (cut into quarters)
- ½ cup of raspberries
Dairy-Free option: use coconut yogurt with oat or almond milk.
Vegan option: Same as dairy-free, and swap out honey for maple syrup.
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, milk, honey and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
- In an ice cube tray, distribute fruit in each of the cube molds.
- Spoon yogurt mixture over the fruit, filling molds completely.
- Freeze for 5 hours, or until frozen solid.
TIPS
Mix in a sprinkle of granola for a breakfast-inspired twist! For a trail mix flavor, add chocolate chips, dried berries, raisins, goji berries, and a handful of nuts. Incorporate some protein powder into your yogurt mixture for an extra protein boost.
